On 26th October 1986, R.W.W. Engineering (Pty) Ltd took over the Engineering division of Sprecher & Schuh (Pty) Ltd (formerly Arthur Trevor Williams), together with the agencies of Nokian capacitors, A.O.I.P. liquid starters and Toshiba vacuum contactors. The full ATW Engineering staff joined the new company, thus ensuring continuity of engineering know how, service, spares and repairs.
